Bleached my hair a couple days ago for the first time and I’m wondering what I need to do to prevent dryness and breakage. My hair was softer before and feels rough now. I’m leaving coconut oil in my hair overnight. Any tips or advice? Products to use?

Condition every time you shower, but don’t shampoo but maybe once or twice a week. Leave in conditioners work well. Find organic products that don’t contain alcohol because that’s what can dry out your hair more. Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet and cut down on heat tools

Nothing helped mine, I just cut it all off about a month ago! It’s up to my shoulders now! Feels a lot better and I will not be bleaching again!! Lol

I'd consider getting the it's a ten miracle mask and it's a ten leave in conditioner.. when I had platinum blonde hair. my hair is naturally a level 2 (very dark brown) I'd use the those products and they made my hair really soft and healthy feeling/looking. I have a cosmetology license and I'd suggest the take home product by olaplex but youd have to buy it from a salon. It's a ten was originally a product only sold to stylist when I was in beauty school. But now are available in big name stores like Target, Walgreens, CVS, and higher end grocery stores..

There's a clear protein filler you can purchase at Sally's sling with a generic "it's a 10" product. Your hair is essentially hollow after extreme bleaching/lightening. It needs to be filled with something.
