I hate having to ask these questions.

I was wondering if maybe somebody could help me. I’m 19 years old and my mom doesn’t like talking to me about this stuff because it makes her uncomfortable. So hopefully I can come on here and ask and maybe get a woman’s opinion on what to do.

Last month I was bleeding unexpectedly for two weeks straight. I don’t know why. I’ve never experienced that before. I’ve always had pretty consistent periods and they always come around the same time even when I started the pill. Now I’m 9 days late. I told my mom I wanted to go to the doctors and she said that its normal but it doesn’t feel normal.
