Hello all. My husband, daughter and I had to go to my husbands grandparents house for Christmas. They smoke in the house. Knowing that they know i am pregnant, i guess I just assumed they would be courteous and not smoke in the same room that I was in. However i was wrong and they still lit up several times right next to me. I tried to move when i could but the smell is lingering all over me. My nose is stuffy and i have a headache. We were exposed for about 4 and a half hours. Do you think there will be long term effects to the baby?

Edit: Thank you all for the helpful info. And for the opinions too. I honestly am feeling a bit hurt that they would put their smoking ahead of all of our well being. My husband and I decided we will not be going back next year and the years after we will play by ear. Im just glad my daughter was occupied across the room atleast with her toys. Again, thanks all.
