My pregnancy was high risk for a number of factors:

-im HIV positive

-i found out i was pregnant 6 month in

-i wanted a natural birth

-i was adamant about breast feeding

Even though i was able to get my viral load to an undetectable level through the use of holistic and western medicine combined, im glad i kept an open mind to other birthing options because i needed an emergency c-section since her head was too big to come down my narrow birth canal safely😅. My surgery went extremely well and she came into this world with no complications. I was even up walking and cooking within days of returning home. My baby girl is 5 weeks old now and is HIV negative! Im eternally grateful to be able to nurse my child without any worries.
