No one likes the name I choose for my son 😭

I announced to my family the first name of my son which will be Carter and only a few were happy. Others told me that they wished I would have picked a different name or that Carter is a last name or that they just don’t like it. I’m crushed because I fell in love with his name and was so excited to tell everyone his full name when he’s born ( he’s named after 4 family members! And I want to surprise them )

But I feel like even then I’m going to get negative feedback :(

I guess I just don’t know how to feel.... 😭

I even sent around his name on a Christmas card and no one said anything about it and I posted it on Facebook.... I give up
