Any moms have experienced feeling like your toddler hates your guts? Like they literally happy and gives a hollywood smile to any other relative/spouse and run away from you like from a fire? Is it just a phase, whats going on:(

All the family pictures she sees she points out "Dadeee" and sometimes herself. I'm never noticed. 🤷

Didn't you know? We moms are not really people, we're part of the equipment/furniture 😂 Jokes aside, very small kids really consider most people differently than their parents. There's no malice in that, it's just that you have been a part of things since forever. Mom being there is the natural order of things. You are like the air: couldn't do without, but taken for granted. You can try explaining in different situations that you're also a person, give examples, but it takes a few years until it sinks in. You're getting the worst, but you are also getting the best, don't forget that ❤

She’s going through the I only want daddy phase. When he’s home, I’m completely ignored unless she’s hungry or has a poop diaper 😂 yesterday when I came home from work, I yelled “mamas home!” She turned around said OK bye! 😒 I didn’t get any love until bathtime when I was smothered with kisses ❤️

Our 16 month old has always gone through mommy/daddy phases. When he’s in one, no one else will do!

Mine is so much better behaved around everyone but me and my husband, but I figure it’s the novelty of new people that excites her and that she feels comfortable and safe enough with us to be her annoying self 😂 she does tend to prefer me in some ways though, like if I’m holding her and go to hand her off to my husband she’ll scream and grab onto me but once she’s with him she’s fine.

My daughter does this with her dad sometimes and anyone else if she's in a mood. Recently, I'm the only one that can put her to bed or she will scream and cry but if I do the same things her dad is, she will just lay there and talk and giggle. 
I do think it's a phase though because two weeks ago she was fine with everyone... But she has been super clingy recently.
