Inducing for 140 blood pressure?

So my baby is on the large side and my OB wants to induce or do a c-section at 39 weeks. Today (at 37+4) I came in for an Ultrasound and to make “a plan”, but she found my blood pressure was 143/80ish something (I can’t remember the lower number). She said since my blood pressure is creeping up I need to come in tomorrow for a check and if it’s still above 140 she will induce me at 38 weeks. Anyone else induced at 38 weeks for blood pressure in the 140s? It doesn’t seem that high to me so I’m starting to wonder if she is just concerned about size and using the blood pressure to induce early.
