Nuvaring Help!!!

Last week I inserted the ring on day two It came out on day 4 due to heavy bleeding/tampon use and I did not reinsert it. My period usually last 5 days max. I am now on day 9 and still heavily bleeding. Any idea when this will stop?

(Brief history I have not used any form of birth Control in seven years, the nuvaring was the only type I even consider after have a very bad experience with the iud, I’ve now decided I do not want any birth control after this experience)
