Planning to attend my school friends wedding in June. I’ll be 39 weeks pregnant. Wedding is 2 hour drive away and would involve staying overnight one night in a hotel. I’ve said to my friend that I would still like to go and I’ll have more of an idea nearer the time of the likelihood of baby arriving early / how I feel. She is not bothered if I pull out at the last minute. She is a good friend from home and she came to my wedding - and I would love to be at hers. However I am worried about being a 2 hour drive from the hospital if something does happen whilst we are away - although my husband is coming with me and can drive back if need be. It’s our first baby so I have no idea if I’m being ridiculous by planning to go to this wedding.
