"God bless you" "I'll be praying"

Does someone's argument fly out the window with you when they resort to anything like "I'll pray for you", "Jesus/god loves you", "even if you don't believe he loves you", "you need Jesus"?

I'm not talking about someone saying I'll pray for you in regards to a sad thing or anything like that, I'm talking about religious debates.

I may not stop responding, but in my mind their argument immediately holds no weight when they resort to the condescending stuff.

Even if there was no argument and they just pop in and say "god loves you!" When you say if you're an atheist or not. The rest of what they have to say goes in one ear and out the other.
