Hello,

I recently got in a car accident (my fault) I rear-ended another vehicle but there was no serious damage other than a scratch on both vehicles, luckily no one got hurt.

The other driver suggested settling outside of our insurance company which I figured would be Okay, I offered to pay for his damages, he went and got a quote which was fine.. I scheduled a day to meet him and give him the cash and he keeps suggesting I electronically send him the money, I'm currently trying to figure out how to write a car accident release of liability waiver so he and i can sign it to protect myself - just so he doesn't take my money and turn around and go to the insurance company and there's no proof of any waiver.

Can anyone help with writing a car accident liability waiver? Please and thank you!

Oh just wanted to mention I am from Canada. - the waiver is a protection here in such cases.

Oh geez I forgot to mention that when we exchanged information his license was expired in Feburary.
