How many ultrasounds did you have during your “normal” pregnancy?

“Normal” meaning not high risk in any way. 
My doctor only does 2. 
One in the first trimester and one around 20 weeks. 
I’m totally fine with that because we’re a tad bit of health nuts and have this idea that too many could potentially harm the baby....

But, honestly, who really “knows” ?
Anyway, just curious how many ultrasounds others normally get. 
If you have had more than one pregnancy, please share your experience below!

Before my pregnancy went a little haywire, I was scheduled to have 4. A dating scan at 8-9, the anatomy scan at 13, anatomy at 20 and one at 34.
I had about 9 total and didn’t even make it to my 34 week scan because she was born at 33 weeks 😂

Norm 12 and 20. I’ve had 4 as of 28 weeks because I miscarried directly before this pregnancy so they were nice enough to let me hear the hb at my first visit 8w ❤️❤️❤️ and I had to go back at 22w because she wasn’t positioned well to see everything they needed at 20w. All depends on you and baby 🙃

5 ,9, 12, 16, 20, 28, he threw in a bonus one at 30 because my parents were in town so they could join us which was so lovely 😊, and I think another one at 34 to assess growth, not sure after that. 
We miscarried immediately prior hence the 5 week confirmation/dating scan, and 9 w to check progress as we were using progesterone and I was being medicated for all-day vomiting - usually I think with the private health system in my country, you would only have one before 12w to confirm and estimate a due date, the rest are fairly usual though. Shit ain’t cheap, but we have soooo many pics of our bubba which is worth it 😍

I think it’s the doctor’s preference especially if they have the machine in their office. I’m not considered high risk, but my old doctor like to do it every 4 weeks. My new doctor doesn’t do them like that.

I had ultrasounds at 9, 12, 16, 20, and 32 weeks. Also at 33 weeks to make sure my fluid levels were rising since I had a lot of fluid and then one at 40 weeks to check baby’s weight and my fluid levels one last time :)

Im supposed  to get 2 but.... I have gotten a new doctor (she very slow , didn’t like her at !) because mines changed shift for the rest on my pregnancy and I told her that I was suppose to get another ultrasound (I lied 🤥) to check the growth and she schedule onefor this Monday 🤗
