Hospital bag?

Im starting to buy items to prepare for the hospital. Just wondering what was most useful for you and/or you wish you brought to the hospital. I got my soaps and some pjs ready. Whatelse would i need?

Chapstick chapstick chapstick!!! Lol and I would bring some of your own snack stuff and I also brought really loose moo moos and capri leggings and a comfy oversized sweatshirt. Slippers

I brought a nursing nighty.. like a little dress. I wish I had brought 2 bc we were there for 5 days. Definitely slippers, phone chargers, & chapstick. The hospital provided a robe, a pump, underwear, and pads. I brought extra underwear but ended up wearing what they provided. Also, my skin was SUPER dry & I had my husband rubbing lotion on me multiple times a day!

A gown and a loose dress to go home in, a travel pillow because the beds are shit, and toothbrush/paste, brush, hair ties, soap, shampoo, and snacks. Diaper bag packed and going home outfit and blanket for baby.

Slippers, robe, phone chargers, cooling pads, depends, and I'm absolutely sneaking in my brand of bottled water and some snacks. Last time I was induced, it took like 17 hours and I didn't get to eat or drink anything the entire time. It was miserable.

Lip balm, Hospital’s are so dry. Also some good slippers. Extra comfy pants. Loose clothing, nursing pads if you plan to breast feed. Change incase you don’t like the hospital food, and snacks for dad, clothing for dad. Tooth brush! Hair elastics.

Bring snacks or some food you can heat up like easy Mac. I delivered late at night and was in labor for 16 hours and couldn’t eat the whole time. I had to wait till the best morning to eat it sucked. Also bring clothes for your spouse/significant other.

Your own pads that you like to use, button up tops or nightgown if you’re breastfeeding and lansinoh cream also if you’re breastfeeding, pacifiers of your choice if you’re using them

Moat hospitals have a list on their website. I found that a robe or 2 was super useful, slippers and socks, chapstick, cash, chargers, toiletries, clothes for leaving hospital that is comfy for you and for baby. I would ask what the hospitals provide, mine gave me pads, underwear, gown, even breast pump to borrow. I found that having a robe not only kept me warm hut when people came to visit it was a nice cover.
