Late period giving me false hope

Ladies,

I have been ttc for 3 months (I know not as long as some of you- baby dust to all!! 💗) and I’m frustrated. I’ve always had regular periods and the last two months, my period has come 3-4 days late. I get very excited, as I think it’s my time! But sure enough, AF comes and I am crushed. I am trying to be kind to myself and realize that pregnancy will come when it’s time. My question(s) for y’all are:

-Have any of you had late periods while ttc? Why do you think this happens?

-What do you during the TWW to keep your mind peaceful/calm?

-Would I experience any symptoms after implantation?

This community has been great while I experience all these new things. Thanks for all your sharing and encouragement of each other. It has already helped me so much.
