Did you get put on bed rest while pregnant?

I have been on strict bed rest and modified bed rest at times during this pregnancy and I was wondering how commonly it is prescribed?

I got told by my maternal fetal doctor, bed rest doesn’t actually do anything. I’m high risk but they said even if I was in preterm they wouldn’t suggest complete bed rest, only modified bed rest.

Yes I was on hospital bed rest

They did modified for me because 1) i did too much lifting at my job and 2) 12 hours shifts were causing me contractions...so the way for fmla to allow me leave early was for a medical reason... i was 23 weeks q3hen i first went into premature labor... again at 25 weeks... which is when the dr put me on bed rest....then i didnt do it again until 39w6d.
