Would you let your Baby’s father find out the gender if you didn’t want to know?

I let my baby’s dad come to the ultrasound and find out the gender we aren’t together, and my family disagrees with our decision to do so but he felt like it would help him bond with our unborn baby and also help him pick names he will give me a list of equal number boy and girl names he like and I will do the same.
I was wondering if it’s as unusual as my family seem to think.

Yes. The way I look at it, it’s his kid too so if he wants to know he can. That’s just my opinion!

You're family needs to mind their own p's and q's. Your relationship between the three of you (you, baby, and daddy) has nothing to do with them and all you need to worry about is what works for you guys. I know so many people who can't co-parent worth crap, and it's great if you guys can put whatever personal feelings you may have aside so that you can each have a good relationship with your baby. It's about what's best for him/her, and I think you still wanting to keep him involved even though you're not together is amazing because I see a lot of petty women who just want to shut guys out of a pregnancy as soon as they split up and not caring about how it can effect the child. It's sad.

Yes I did this with my husband. He wanted to know and I did not. So he knew before me.
