Brown spotting/discharge ended in miscarriage?

Been having brown spotting/discharge off and on for the last 4 days now. Doctors say it’s normal in first trimester but I keep reading things that didn’t end up “normal”. Input anyone?

I had pink spotting for a day when I was 5 weeks, and then brown for several days after. I’m now 15 weeks and just fine

For me it got worse and did end in miscarriage but up until that point my doctor assured me it was all normal and there are a lot of causes for it. Only one of those causes is miscarriage so try not to stress!

Happened to me and ik now 20 weeks and baby is healthy!

Unfortunately for me it ended in miscarriage but some women do experience some spotting in the first trimester. You may just want to get checked out just to figure out what is going on
