I’m newly pregnant with our second child. With our first, I wanted to have a natural, unmedicated birth. I labored for 43 hours (opted for the epidural at 32 hours and after finding out I had only dilated to 4 cm in that time) and ended up having an emergency c-section. My OB said I would be a great candidate for a vbac. Now that we are pregnant again, I’m having a really hard time deciding between a scheduled repeat c-section or trying for a vbac. I understand this is a decision only I can make, but I’m interested in others experiences that were in a similar situation. What did you choose to do and why and how did everything turn out? Thanks!

Edit: Adding that I went to 41 weeks with my first and he was 8lbs 12oz.
