I had a little emergency the other night and had to go to the ER. As the nurse was taking my info, he actually asked me if I still get my period! Ugh. I’m 39, so I guess it’s not the most absurd question, but it’s freakin sensitive, man! I’ve been ttc for 5 years. I’m watching the clock. It’s stressful. I feel like no one, ever, should ask that question... just ask when my last period was. You’ll figure it out from there. I know I sound a bit petty, but I’m thinking about talking to the hospital about it... not to get him in trouble, but to help him understand how to be a little more tactful. Should I? Would you? 😖
