So I think I’m 6w pregnant today. At 4w6d I took a test, and it came out super positive:

And then we traveled for Christmas, at 5w3d I started to spot brown discharge, sometimes brownish red, just when I wiped, sometimes a couple on a pad, I had no crampings. We just got home and I just took a test, and it came out lighter, does it mean I’m having a mc?

UPDATE:

I was worried, so I did google about it. And I learned about the HOOK EFFECT, it happens when your hcg levels are so high, it confuses the tests. So I decided to try the HE, I held my pee for about 3hrs, I was little bit worried so I just added a little bit of water, and my test came out darker than the one I took this morning (pic above 👆🏻). I’m so sorry for the long post. Because of insurance I can’t make an appointment with OB til after new year, and they’re not gonna see me til 8w since the first day of my period which I ovulated a lot sooner this time. Hopefully they still get me in after the spotting.
