Too early?

I took two pregnancy tests yesterday and I’m pregnant, YAY! If I did the math right, I’m approximately 3 weeks pregnant. Is it too early to see a doctor?

Go ahead and call your doctor. With my first pregnancy they didn’t have me come in until 8-9 weeks but we discovered we were having a missed miscarriage. When i got pregnant the month after my D&C they had me come in right away to do blood work to make sure my HCG was doubling and my progesterone was high enough.

Depends on the doctor. If it’s your first pregnancy they may wait until 8 weeks or so or sometimes even later like 12 weeks

I found out at 6 weeks. My dr had me come in for a urine test and just to get my estimated due date. I don’t go back to have an exam or anything until 11 weeks.

You can call your dr and ask. Mine won’t book an appointment until your one full week late. I received my BFP at 8DPO as well and waited a week to book my appointment. My first appt is at 8 weeks. Most doctors won’t see you until 8-12 weeks.

You can make an appointment and they will have you come in for a blood test to confirm and talk with you and then make another appointment for ultrasound or some just wait until they think you are further along and see you and do ultrasound but will go ahead and make the appointment
