I have an induction date set. Are you glad you were induced?

I was induced with my first and will never do it again. It is so hard on you and on baby. Often ends in emergency csection or with baby in distress. I will wait for for baby to be ready and come on their own. Just being 40 weeks isn’t a good enough reason to induce. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

I was bullied into pitocin during my son’s birth and it was not a good experience, personally. Is there a medical reason why you need to be induced?

I was induced for both of mine for medical reasons and I would much rather have gone natural. I think that unless there's a medical reason, elective inductions or c-sections shouldn't be allowed.

My induction was horrible. Medically necessary unfortunately 😕 but her heart rate crashed into the 50s and almost ended in an emergency csection. I would never recommend it.

I was induced due to preeclampsia at 35 weeks. My baby girl was a premie. However, after being induced, I still wasn’t dilated for 3 days, not even a cm 😂 finally my doctor broke my water and that surely sped things up pretty fast.

I had to have an emergency csection from my induction. Wait if you can til 42 weeks.

With my son I went into preterm labor at 24 weeks. Made it to 36 weeks was dilated to a 5, the hospital sent me home and I stayed at a 5 until 39 weeks when I asked my doc to please induce because I was so scared I was going to give birth at home. My induction was actually very easy. I went in at 7am and had him at almost 3pm. Only reason it took so long is because I did natural and my body wasn't relaxing enough plus the night before I did not sleep the whole night I was so excited. So at 2pm I asked for the epidural to try and get a couple hours of sleep i was still a 5 at that point we figured it was going to be a few hours still. And not even 30 min later he was ready to come out. I honestly wished I could have done it without being induced but like I mentioned I was already at 5cm the hospital refused to admit me and I was way to scared to have him at home.

I was induced at 41+1 because of being overdue and baby was measuring over 10lbs. I was so glad to finally not be pregnant anymore because it was very painful for me and hard on my body but wish I waited longer and gave her more time to come on her own. An extra week of being pregnant would have been worth a natural labour in my opinion.

I was induced on my due date, and I would happily do it again assuming it went like my daughter’s. I am hoping to naturally go into labor this time around, but I have a family history of struggling with basically a long pause on labor where the contractions are no longer effective. The treatment is just regulation with pitocin, so I wasn’t super concerned either way.

I was induced a week early and I had a peaceful delivery I think it was good hopefully I get another one this go around.
