Are essential oils harmful to breathe in while pregnant?

Any essential oil ladies in here know the correct answer to this?

I used essential oils while pregnant. Everything turned out fine, but I think it depends what kind. I used lavender frequently and that was OK. I never asked my doctor about them because I heard all they'll say is to not do it because there's not much research on them with pregnant women. But you could try googling "pregnancy and [essential oil]" and maybe you can get some info there. I think you're most likely fine with most of the essential oils.
