What does it look like for you? We’re having a homebirth and my 20 month old is really attached to my partner and I. Suddenly I’m feeling panicked about how she’ll be able to function with me in labor. We plan to have a doula and I have some lady friends on call but I’m wondering whether we should just plan mainly on my man taking care of her instead of me if it’s during the daytime? She doesn’t like to go to bed without me, sometimes he can get her down in the car but it’s mostly me she depends on. I’m just like oh shit! I mean if it’s the middle of the night and she’s asleep that’s one thing but what if it’s another long labor? 🤷‍♀️
