hooking up w best friend

so there’s some obvious tension between me & my best friend & we want to hook up with each other but i’m scared it’ll jeopardize the friend group. like there’s no feelings for each other, other than sexual, but i dont know if it would ruin things for us & our friend group or if it would have no effect.

any advice pleaseee?
