It might be a stupid question, and I believe there may be as many different opinions as there are people.

I know they say women obsess with the first child and then with every next one, they care less as they already know what the lil one will need, what works and what doesn't.

My question is, when you buy new baby clothes, do you wash them for a newborn or leave them as they are? And if so, do you use special washing powder/ clothes softener or use standard one you already have at home?
