Sleeping boyfriend?😣

Do you girls think it’s fair for me to be annoyed slightly at my boyfriend cause he literally sleeps till 1:pm?!? Like he’s a student full time and works 15 hours a week but ANY time he has off in the morning he sleeps SO late. Even if he has classes he will sleep to the last minute then freak out cause he slept in. He’s more than capable of setting an alarm but he just ignores it sometimes.
Anyone else have this problem with the SO? I work 40 hour weeks getting up at 4-6 am. Then he complains when he has to get up “ early “ for school at 9am.

I completely understand. Me and my boyfriend are both full time students and both have part time jobs and I’m pregnant but he is the one who is sleeping until 2/3 in the afternoon🙄. He also stays up until 2 in the morning playing Xbox so I tend to get on to him about that often. It’s frustrating because I literally have the same schedule he does so I feel like you have a valid reason to be frustrated with him.

Why do you care when he's getting up? Is it impacting what you need to do? Is it causing him to fail or mess up? Just trying to understand.

I could see being annoyed if he slept that late and didn’t have shit going for himself. But the fact that he’s in school and still working is  damn near a miracle these days sad to say... I’d cut him some slack

I'm going to be the odd one out by saying I would be completely annoyed by this. He shouldn't complain if he is causing his own problems. Being a student may suck, but staying up late playing xbox is not a valid reason to stay in bed until 1pm. He needs to figure out his priorities and stop being 15.

My bf works between 20-32 hours a week. Never before noon. 
I work 40 hours a week and full time student. 
I get super jealous that he sleeps in everyday, but for me it was only a problem when he wasn't contributing to household chores. Like, he would do a few things and expect me to have time to do stuff on top of cooking dinner. One day after a fight I told him he's home the majority of the day and not going to school, he SHOULD be doing more around the house than me! Not playing PS4. 
Ever since, laundry done and house clean when I get come! 👌

My SO slept late on weekends when he was in his early 20s. He grew out of it when his job got more professional. I don't think it's unusual.

I understand where you’re coming from, but being a student is super draining and he will need as much sleep as he can. Try not o get upset about it. Be supportive

I understand both sides. I used to work 40 hours a week for months. And I am a full time student now that works part time now. He needs his sleep. Whenever I was finished with my school work and wasn’t working, I took the time to sleep in but also have “me” time like relaxing. I did make effort hang out with people and go on dates with my man though. I think you guys should communicate about this. You two are doing completely different things. You both are allowed to be tired. You both are allowed to complain about it.
