Normal hcg levels?

Question

What is the normal hcg levels for someone 5weeks 2 days pregnant? I had my blood drawn on the 31st so I was 5 weeks that day and I just got my results back and they said they are 460 which they said are a little low I’m going in today to have them drawn again I’m wondering what a normal hcg level is for 5 weeks?

Honestly, the reference range for what is normal hCG levels at 5 weeks of pregnancy (at my hospital) is anywhere from 25 to 7,400 mIU/mL. In normal pregnancies, this number will double every 2-3 days until about 10 weeks of pregnancy then the number will decline during the remainder of the pregnancy.
Caution though. Try not to make too much of hCG numbers. A normal pregnancy may have low hCG levels but, still have a perfectly healthy baby. The results of an ultrasound after 5 - 6 weeks gestation are much more accurate than using hCG numbers. :)
