so basically I’m 19, my bf is 20. I’m white and he’s Asian. He doesn’t really tell his parents much because they want him to focus on school and career more than relationships. I have seen his dad a few times and he says hi, and both of his parents have an idea that we’re together. But whenever I see his mom he almost doesn’t introduce me or she doesn’t even really acknowledge me. It’s never formal and he says they are not like that. Do you think it’ll ever change? I know parents aren’t a deal breaker in a relationship but how would this affect the future?
