When did you start shopping for the baby?

some family members of mine suggested that i wait until at least a month before the due date because they say its bad luck to buy things sooner. Anyways when did you guys start buying baby things such as crib, blankets, carseat, clothes etc.

I started buying baby neutral baby stuff when we started to ttc. When I got pregnant I bought everything all at once at 12 weeks. The next day I was informed that I was having a missed miscarriage. I never returned the crib or anything. My husband thought keeping it would help us when we decided to have another baby. So in my next pregnancy I only gotta buy small stuff like breast pads, a breast pump etc etc

Im 19wks due may 29th, i think ill start my shopping in march for things unless i see some badass sales, im going to need everything..i havnt baby shopped in almost 13 yrs i just know im going to b like a kid in a candy store..this lil girl is gnna b decked out in minnie mouse (hubbys choice)..

I started buying clothes from 10 weeks when I found out the gender via blood test. I bought the stroller and car seat at around 25 weeks... nothing for the nursery yet and I’m 30w3d but i don’t stress myself over it as i’m planning to co-sleep for at least 6 months so I’ll just get buy a co-sleeping bed soon and we’ll do the nursery whenever... :)

A month before is very last minute I think. I would just want to relax and get rest.
I will start in 3 weeks when I am 20 weeks along xx
