Im 29 weeks +4 days... my doctor has ordered interval scan and fetal echo. Is fetal echo a part of routine ante natal screening??

We received a fetal echo only due to the fact our first born was born with a minor heart defect and it tends to be genetic.

No it’s not. Only if they need a better look at baby’s heart. Your doc should be open and explain things to you, call and ask why it was ordered since you don’t know
