Do i find out my baby's gender before revealing to my family the same day?

So I find out my baby's gender on the 12th do I find out before I reveal the gender to my family or do I wait and know at the same time as them? The scan place is providing me with a cannon with pink or blue confetti in it but I can know before people. I don't know what to do help. Share experiences/ opinions  😁💖💙xxxx

If you have truly no preference on gender then I’d say 100% wait and find out with your family. That genuine reaction will be awesome for everyone to see. However, if you think you have a chance of being disappointed one way or the other (yes, gender disappointment is a real thing), then i would find out in advance so you can deal with your feelings privately

My husband and I waited and revealed with my family and it was so much fun the share the surprise with them! The only person who knew was my SIL

We had my sister and best friend find out and plan....we found out with the rest of the family and friends!

I think it's more fun to share that exciting moment will all the people you love. It wont be THAT hard to wait if the reveal party is the same day! 😁

Personally I would find out in private. I hate big surprises especially in front of crowds. No matter what you decide, he fun and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

With my 1st, we did a gender reveal party but instead of us finding out with everyone and only one person knowing. We were the only ones that knew and surprised everyone with the gender and his name. It was exciting to see everyone’s excitement and anticipation instead being wrapped up in my own excitement.

I found out before hand with my last baby and was disappointed we weren’t surprised with everyone else. This time we are waiting to be surprised. Luckily we get the results Friday and find out Saturday at our party lol
