So after I had the baby I bled for about three weeks straight then I stopped bleeding for 2 days now I'm back to bleeding is this my period.

I have read a book that said bleeding that early after it stopped is most likely due to your hormones shifting and changing since you're not pregnant anymore. I had that happen to me, and I haven't had a "period" since, so I don't count it as my bleeding.

I had the same thing, but longer period of time. (Bled for 6 weeks, stopped for 5 days and started again) when I called the doctor they were confused since I was EBF and it shouldn’t have started that soon, but they said the only explanation was that it was my period starting. It’s a drag, but I guess it happens.
