I Gave blood before I knew I was pregnant...

So it turns out my date of conception was December 2nd and I gave blood the 14th (found out I was pregnant on the 27th) and the strangest thing happened...it completely coagulated in the bag before I was done!! That has never happened before, so I'm certain it was a pregnancy thing. I couldn't find any articles on it but I do know during pregnancy you clot quicker to protect you from too much blood loss in labor.

I can't wait to ask my doctor and I hope I didn't screw up too bad because bi know you aren't allowed to donate while pregnant. 😕
