How long did it take to get your bfp

How long after your missed period did you get your BFP? My husband and I have been TTC for about three months now and this is the first month I have been late, 4 days late so far. I have had a little cramping over the last few days but it hasn't felt like a period cramps at all, no bleed or spotting, and I have felt awful and exhausted. This morning I got up at 4:30 throwing up, this is the first time this has happened. I've took two $1 pregnancy tests, one late last night and one first thing this morning but both have been negative. Just curious if any one experienced anything like this before they got their bfp?
