My baby is 6 weeks old and drinking cow and gate formula. She strains all day like she wants to poop. I dont understand why ALL DAY this is an event. She seems so miserable. She cries alot as well, but she never sleeps good due to the constant straining. What is this about? when she started to do this, she was having only 1 stool a day. so i thought it may be constipation, so tried to stimulate her rectum with a thermometer to help her poop, but that did not work for me, when I pick her up she is more content and not doing it as much, I have read alot of posts and It seems it's just babies. Anyone else had a problem with this, might book a gp appointment to be on the safe side.xx
