No water before 6 months. After 6 months we were told no more than 1-2oz a day to help prevent constipation because of starting solids. So far my daughter likes the 360 cups best

Six months is the official recommendation, and even then just 1-2 ounces a day to help with constipation when introducing solids. Straw cups are supposed to be better for oral development than sippy cups so we used the munchkin weighted straw cup.

6 months when we started solids. And we started out with a Nuby transitional cup with a nipple attachment and then transitioned to the regular sippy spout from there. We did straws at 12 months and then 360 cups at 15 months.
