My husband thinks I’m being overbearing....

So my 14 year old spent the day at his friends house yesterday and my husband went to pick him up later that night and was asked if our son could go on a family outing with their family (only ever met the mother once and never met the father)my husband agreed without question. He tells me 11pm that night the our son is going out tomorrow so I ask where is he going and when will he be back, he didn’t have a response to that and all of a sudden I’m the one in the wrong for wanting to know where my child will be and when he will be home... my question here is... Is it too much to want to know where your child is going to be and when they will be him?
