Adhesions on tubes

Hi guys, I would like some tips/advice and to hear if you've had any of these experiences. I was diagnosed in November with pelvic inflammatory disease and PCOS. I've had a few appointments for abdominal pain and such, each time they chalk it up to bacterial vaginosis and put me on an antibiotic. Finally my gynecologist did a pelvic exam and believes that I have adhesions (scar tissue) on my tubes and possibly endometriosis. So we signed paperwork for a diagnostic laparoscopy. While they're in there they'll cut out any scar tissue and endometriosis that they find. My question is for all of you that have been through this, how hard was recovery? Did it help you conceive?
