So can you have a period every month and have pcos??

Ir

This may be a long one but I’m driving my self crazy... I went to a doctor in January 2018 because I hadn’t had a period since November 2017 I thought I was pregnant because I kept getting very faint positives but when I went to the doctor the test were negative. She did a ultrasound and diagnosed me with PCOS to prior to this my periods always came on time I’ve never missed one and the one I did miss I was pregnant with my daughter in 2015... So I go back February 2nd 2018 and she tells me that I had a chemical pregnancy that’s why my test at home where faint (she had no sympathy literally was like oh well) anyways it still hurt because I had a feeling I was pregnant and I wondered how could I of had a chemical pregnancy and not bleed? so anyways still no period till February 22 and I bleed for 58 days. On the 58th day I passed two dollar size blood cloths that where HUGE! To me I felt like I was pregnant and still pregnant when she told me I had a miscarriage. And I think I miscarried later on and I had finally passed it. Idk to me that’s what it felt like. So after I passed those I stopped bleeding the next month my period comes it’s normal. Then after that my periods been normal ever since. And always on time. Always. So I’m wondering now if you have PCOS do you have a period every month? I don’t understand it 😥 The reason I’m asking is because I did miss this month ironically my last period was November 28th. Lasted till December 3rd. So I’m 4 days late getting bfn just stressing this whole pcos thing.
