I will likely be delivering at St. Mark’s hospital in Salt Lake City. This is only anonymous because that’s more personal that I prefer to have publicly. They have an estimate on all of their pricing for delivery and infant care, but I was curious if anyone knew the average cost (before insurance) of getting an epidural there? They have a dedicated anesthesiologist for the obstetrics unit apparently, but it still must be billed separately. It was well over $2,000 where I live, and in my experience and research, it is not usually that much in that area. I’m just trying to know how much I need to save for labor and delivery, so I’m hoping to get as accurate information as possible, and I can’t seem to find any answers online to this.
