Safe to dye hair in early pregnancy ?

I’m badly needing my hair coloured ( highlights ) - 
Don’t know if this is a silly question but I’m just wondering is it safe to colour hair in pregnancy ? 
I’m 7 weeks 🤰 thanks 🥰

Highlights are put in foils and don’t sit in the scalp. It’s fine. I’m a hairdresser.

I called my hair dresser and asked last week before i went in, she said yes it’s fine.

Yes highlights are very safe as barely any of the product touches your skin. My dr didn’t have an issue with it (I had mine done around the same time) but she said if I wanted to be extra safe or if I thought the place wasn’t very well ventilated I could wait til second tri
