Heartbeat at 5 weeks?!? Yay or nay?!

How many people could hear a heartbeat at 5 weeks ish?!? My obgyn couldn’t get one. But she did transvaginal.

I know Ovia app says most heart beats don’t start until right at 6 weeks so I wouldn’t expect it at 5

My ob refused to even check at 6 weeks. I think it's normal. Healthy heart rate at 7 weeks 5 days (when they let me have an early ultrasound.)

Even at 7 weeks my little guy had a strong heartbeat. We could see it but not hear it

I only had an ultrasound once this early in my first pregnancy. But no we couldn't hear a heartneat. I had to come back at 7 weeks to hear it.

It’s unlikely. Heartbeat is usually best detectable somewhere between 6-8 weeks.
