I don’t want to get in trouble with law enforcement if it’s not okay. I use a cover but it’s in public places like parks, schools and grocery stores.

You dot need to use a cover even to pump in most states. Women and their babies is have rights, the perves who can't handle a woman getting a baby some lunch are the ones who can go hide under a blanket

Pumping and breast feeding are legal covered or not anywhere you need to release. I travel for work and with my first pumped in many parking lots on my route. I’ve nursed in Costco parking lots and malls. You do what you need mama.

I have breastfed in the car many times. It’s not the most comfortable, but you do what you have to do. 
Once many years ago, I saw an interview with a woman who was arrested after breastfeeding while driving. She was of the opinion she had a right to feed her baby but didn’t see the danger of doing it while driving. Just don’t be that person.

I pump at my girls school all the time while waiting to pick them up. I usually have  these cropped sweaters that I put on so that way the tubes aren’t disturbed but I’m still covered. Sometimes I have to hand express and I do 🤷🏻‍♀️
