How long do you bleed after giving birth?

I know the bleeding after birth is really intense but I’ve never heard anyone say for how long ?

Mine was about 3-4 weeks

I have bled as short as 2 wks and as much as 6 wks

I bled fairly heavy for 2-3 days and then it was light-medium for 2-3 weeks. By 4 weeks I was barely spotting and by 5 weeks it had stopped altogether.

I only bled for like 4-5 days if I remember correctly. I was expecting to much longer but it didn’t last long.

I never bled heavy... it lasted maybe a week tops when my son was discharged at 4 days old it slowed down a bit...  it was no where as heavy as I expected. Yes it was heavier than my normal period but my periods normally last 2-3 days.🤷‍♀️

I only bled heavy the first 2 days. After that it was a medium flow for maybe 3 days. Then its been light/spotting and I’m 2.5 weeks pp.

It wasn’t an intense bleed more of a heavy period for like 3 weeks then a lighter one for 1-2. I stopped bleeding around 5 weeks PP. Definitely stock up on large pads you’ll need them.
