Pitting edema?

Is pitting normal or should I head into my l&d to be checked out? It’s only on one (very fatty) area of my foot (the ankle). Fingers are a bit swollen but my face is totally fine.

Thanks ladies. L&d wasn’t much help, but I have been instructed to lay down to see if that helps. I’m now putting a bit more than I was when I posted this, so if it doesn’t go down I may go in and asked to have my bp checked just to put my mind at ease.

I have this swelling and pitting from my toes all the way to my shin. Been this way for weeks and try doctor still says I’m fine. Says I’m just retaining lots of water.
