Elective c-section?

Question

I've had 2 vaginal births, no complications with them at all. I'm considering it because i want my tubes tied at the same time, and i think it would be easier to just have one recovery time after birth instead of recovering then having the surgery to get fixed and have another recovery to deal with. 
Still no idea what to decide, thoughts? Experiences welcome

Trust me you dont want a c section. Its a major abdominal surgery that even 2 years post baby I still have problems with.

Having your tubes tied is only through your belly button so nothing major unlike having a c section

As someone who had no choice but to have a C section with my last pregnancy DO NOT DO IT. I wouldnt wish it on anyone, I'm terrified of having another this time. It's painful and much more difficult to recover from than a vaginal delivery. Vasectomy is always an option as well!

C section recovery is brutal.
I’ve had an emergency c section.
And then a vbac.
I would love to have another vbac.
I would say don’t do it but hey it’s your body .

I have had 2 vaginal births and one C-section. I would not recommend a C-section for my worse enemy. If you don't have to have one don't do it!

A tubal is a same day surgery, as in, you get to go home the same day as your surgery. It leaves very minimal incisions that are easy to recover from and it's (Laparoscopic) using a scope. 
Laparoscopy – This surgery can be done without a hospital stay. For the procedure, a laparoscope is used. This is a thin tube with a camera and a light on the end. The physician makes 2 to 4 small incisions in the abdomen and inserts a scope through one of the incisions. The scope sends live pictures of your fallopian tubes to a video screen. Surgical tools are placed through the other small incision. Using the live images, your physician blocks your tubes. The incisions are removed with sutures or staples.

I think that is something you would have to talk to your ob about. I dont think many places let you have an elective c section but maybe they will if you are getting your tubes tied I am just not sure 🙂

Don’t do a elective csection .. c sections are a lot more recovery time then getting your tubes tied.. a c sections is quite a bit more of a survey the. Having your tubes tied... 
Personally I avoid c sections at all cost unless a emergency I’ve been offered one with all my pregnancies and turn it down bc I do not want that recovery time
