Bacterial vaginosis

My doctor called me and said I had bv.  They sent a prescription to my pharmacy for metronadizole.  I take it twice a day for seven days.  Now I have read several things that it's on the b level of prescriptions and it's safe to take while pregnant.  I also asked the office that called me and they said its fine.  Just for piece of mind, anyone else take this during pregnancy?  I know I have to treat bv or it could lead to low birth weight but just need piece of mind!
