On top of everything!!!

So I was blessed Tuesday 1/9/19 with our beautiful baby girl entering the world. 5 hours later they did surgery to tie my tubes. Which obviously I signed up for. Well now at home, milks coming in, my boobs are engorged and I’m also dealing with my 3 amazing boys running around (with help of my husband). So on top of all the stuff we mothers deal with AFTER birth my incision in my belly button is SUPER swollen and now infected. It’s not oozing, but its swollen, it’s red, and the redness is spreading. It’s sore on top of the normal soreness from surgery. I can’t sit up even with pain medication. It’s getting slightly more swollen daily, so I’m not having to call the advice nurse to see what i should do. Huge bummer, they gave me a kick start of IV antibiotics in the hospital and sent me home with antibiotics and it hasn’t done anything, just gotten worse. Sorry no reason for this post, I’m just super bummed and upset. All I want to do is spend time with my baby girl and deal with the normal engorgement and nursing pains, not this other bullshit.

Update... so they admitted me to the hospital and are giving me major antibiotics every 8 hours for 24 hours. Praying this helps or they might possibly have to reopen it and drain whatever is swelling is in there. 😭 I have to have another adult with me to have my daughter here Incase something happened to me. Which makes sense, but difficult since I want my husband here but he’s at home with our other kids. So my mom is here with me. It’s been quite an adventure and I’m now ready for it to be over. Not to mention baby has been somewhat gassy and super fussy the whole time I’ve been here 😭
