Hemorrhoids??

I've never experienced anything like constipation or hemorrhoids until I got pregnant. I'm currently 23w & 3d, my next appointment is the 15th. Should I be worried that I bled when I pooped? It didn't hurt, and I read that hemorrhoids are painful, and also I'm 100% sure the blood came from my butt not my front. Google says not to worry but I'm a first time momma and just want to see if it is "normal"?

I had the same thing happen, it ended up being an anal tear and not a hemorrhoid. My doctor told me to drink a cup of milk of magnesium or take a stool softener to help.

Yes, hemmroids and constipation is normal during pregnancy. True to eat a lot of fiber and drink plenty water if your not doing this already. I've been experiencing the constipation but not hemmroids yet. I drink a lot of water but still get it.

It could just be from straining. I'm 24w and 4 days, and sometimes I have blood in my stool. If I can't use the bathroom right at the moment and have to hold it...

My doctor told me that this is normal with constipation. Perhaps you could try a fibre supplement or stool softener to help.
